Provider Contact Center - Make the Most of Your Call

Published 08/15/2025

As of June 13, 2025, the Provider Contact Center (PCC) will service one Provider Transaction Account Number (PTAN)/National Provider Identifier (NPI) combination per call. Before calling the PCC, make the most of your call by ensuring you have all authentication details ready:

  • PTAN
  • NPI
  • Last five digits of the tax ID
  • Beneficiary information from the relevant claim you are questioning, including:
    • Beneficiary last name
    • First initial
    • Dates of service (DOS)

For claim-specific inquiries, make sure you authenticate using the exact billing PTAN associated with the claim. Effective June 13, 2025, you will be asked to call back and reauthenticate if the claim is not processed under the PTAN originally authenticated.

Palmetto GBA recommends using our secure self-service eServices portal, for access to information on beneficiary eligibility, claim status, duplicate remittance notices, amounts of the last three checks issued to a provider, the amount approved to pay (on the payment floor) and many other helpful features.
